2007 saw the beginning of a new era for
Crockerton House, as a luxurious haven for our guests. Originally part of Lord Bath’s Longleat estate, some of the Grade II listed house dates from 1669; in 1921 the property was purchased by Lord Heytesbury who lived here till 1949. Twelve months of sympathetic restoration have rejuvenated the property to its earlier splendour.
Previously having owned a highly rated country house hotel on Exmoor, where Enid was awarded an AA rosette for culinary excellence six years running, Christopher and Enid Richmond would now like to welcome you into their beautiful house and garden.
Crockerton House, situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Wylye Valley only 20 miles from Bath, Salisbury and Stonehenge, makes an ideal base for exploring Wiltshire, Somerset and Dorset.
